Frequently asked questions
How many recalls has the BMW X6 had?
NHTSA lists 39 recall campaigns since 2013 that include the BMW X6, across 19 model years (2008–2026).
Which BMW X6 model year has the most recalls?
The 2020 BMW X6 appears in the most campaigns (10). Counts reflect how many recalls include that year, not how many cars were affected.
How do I check my BMW X6 for recalls?
Use the free VIN lookup at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A campaign applies only to certain vehicles, so a model-year match is not enough.
